Preparing new move progressively from La Plata we present the first and only (so far) album of Akenathón, one of the bands that he has been giving more impetus to this large sample of dynamism and activity that is now the city of La Plata in prog culture.

And for those who do not know, Akenathon "The mystique of the rock" is a progressive band originally from La Plata, Argentina (as under Linden, Baalbek, Big Machine, Sugar Mice, Pupa and many more) and formed in 2001.
In Akenathon, we can find colors characteristic of jazz or blues, as well as nuances hard, progressive or symphonic passages without reducing folk as "Malambo" or ballads like "Balada para un final, but played with the unmistakable mark this band. They also have among his musical influences to great exponents of symphonic progressive genre as Genesis, but also recognize the brand of bands like The Beatles or George Harrison. Just the magic of the mystic Beatle inspired much of his work record which now present.

Akenathon was characterized from the beginning by the fact of adding in concert different artistic disciplines. Akenathon have accompanied many artists of his city. We can count among them the artists, actors, writers, photographers, puppeteers and clowns, among others. Friend of the band, Leslie, Comedian, conductor and painter platense accompanies the Mystic Rock with their art. Up the "staff" of "The mystique of rock" a designer, sound engineer, lighting technician, leads and even web designers. Therefore not defined as a band formed by musicians only.

This can be reflected in the beautiful art that comes with this great album.
Highly recommended.

best thing is that we do live in the next festival on Friday April 29 in Shapo, former 565, La Plata, near Black River, Big Machine and Sugar Mice.
