Roberto Moreno puts his virtuosity in the service of this remarkable quartet, and not the reverse: in this equation Aurea lies the power of his music. Based on the broadly defined as a jazz territory, his compositions connected with the air of samba, party or chacarera, carnavalitos, some samba and camdombe. With an instrumentation of bass, guitar, winds, battery and Peruvian cajon, transit issues Moreno and Eduardo del Aguila (guitarist) and honored as the opening drive, the adaptation of a theme of Carol Kaye, "the lady of the low."

For an artist, his life is his art, and everything it forms part and parcel of the environment, home, the city is what inspires him emotionally, so no wonder that this album is dedicated to Sifusa, a cat, and Amanda, their daughter (the most beloved and who express lost him quiet forever, his muse, as well) all his affections. This work of Roberto Moreno, is to listen, whether we do it calmly and carefully, as we hear it while we take care of other tasks, will always find details that make this a very singular proposal. In my opinion, I find some "details", disturbances in the mixture in the editing of a couple of topics that I noticed that some instruments are not in relation to each other, at the right level ... but, this does not detract from the work level, otherwise the end product is very interesting.

This is the last work of this remarkable artist, and for me their best album.
