AIESEC (Association internationale des étudiants en sciences économiques et commerciales) is an international nonprofit organization that works by students and recent graduates of institutions of education superior.
Their slogan is the international platform for young people to explore and develop their potential in order to have a positive impact on society.
AIESEC was founded in 1948 under the name International Association of Students of Economics and Business (French) seeking internacionles completion of the conflict experienced at that time, through an understanding between their countries and Thus began the exchange, young to know and sharing with other cultures.
Today their purpose remains the same: world peace and development of human potential. His International Headquarters is currently in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Currently still using the original acronym of the name but no longer with that respect, because their vision has expanded into engineering and the rest of the social sciences and humanities.
AIESEC provides its members with opportunities for work abroad, meeting people, and pursue various skills and ambitions.
