Dirty Three is a band originating in the Australian city of Melbourne. It is an instrumental trio composed by Mick Turner (guitar), Warren Ellis (violin) and Jim White (drums), who since their formation in 1993 they continued playing together until now.

with minimalism as a standard rocker Post the band is mainly characterized by having a remarkable influence of folk and classical music. Anyway, his musical style has evolved over the years: Starting with an aggressive sound very experimental in their first three albums changed course on Ocean Songs to a much softer melody and delicate violin-led magical Ellis with virtuoso passages full of melancholy inspired by the sea and sirens. Without doubt a great source of inspiration ...

A divine and very original album as whole discography for these guys. No doubt this is his masterpiece, a very nice fusion of post-rock and neo-classical music!
